Title: Study on the Fragments of mtDNA of Maintainer Line Transform T-type Cytoplasmic Male Sterility Line in Wheat
Abstract: Cytoplasm male sterility (CMS) exists in plant generally and it′s mechanism is the hot spot in studying. The fragments of mtDNA of maintainer line was induced into T-type wheat cytoplasmic male sterility line 75-3369A by pollen tube pathway. The fragments stem from the genome library of mtDNA of maintainer line 75-3369B. The result shows that the recomposed plasmid-ME252 and ME317 have made the fertility of 75-3369A restored. The result suggests mtDNA of maintainer might include the fertility gene.
