Title: Efficacy observation of Domestic besylate amlodipine in treatment of mild-to-moderate hypertension
Abstract: Objective To observe the efficiency and safety of Domestic besylate amlodipine in the treatment of 167 mild-to-moderate essential hypertension patients. Methods One hundred and sixty-seven mild-to-moderate essential hypertension patients who were treated in clinic from 2008 to 2011 were chosen, the blood pressure and adverse reactions before treatment and after 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 week treatment were observed, 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure before treatment and after 4, 8 weeks treatment was detected. Results The blood pressure decreased obviously after one week treatment, the difference was significant compared with before treatment (P 0.05). The total effective rate was 87.4% after treatment, there was no significant difference between men and women (P 0.05). The effect was stable and protracted, the data of 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure supported this result also, the average systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure were significantly decreased after treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P 0.05), and the peak-valley ratio was 53.6%, 52.4% in four and eight weeks after taking the medicine. The main adverse reactions were headache and edema in ankles, however, the incidence rate was low, which was 3.6%, 4.8% respectively. Conclusion Domestic besylate amlodipine can decrease the blood pressure safely and effectively, has lasting effect and a price advantage, is worthy of promotion in clinic.
