Application of H13 steel in cold extrusion die

Description: The reason for fracture of a cold extrusion die which is made of Cr12 Mo V steel was analyzed, and the thinking and method that using H13 steel instead of Cr12 Mo V steel to made the die were proposed. H13 steel will get high strength, hardness and good toughness after forging, spheroidizing annealing and increasing heating temperature to solve the fracture problem of extrusion die.
