Title: Analysis on Boom Strength of Mine Hydraulic Powered Support Carrier
Abstract: Based on the theory of dynamic finite element analysis and with the COSMOSWorks finite element analysis platform,a finite element model of the rotary boom of the support carrier was established.According to the worst performance of the boom,the dynamic load of the boom was picked up and the dynamic strength of the boom was researched.The stress field distribution and the dangerous location of the boom were obtained and were meet with the actual failure tendency of the boom.With the optimization,the strength of the boom was improved by 20%.The analysis results showed that the dynamic strength and rigidity of the boom could meet the actual operation requirements and could provide the bases for the partial improvement of the boom.
