Abstract:Objective To study the changes in hemodynamics after pelvic fracture.Method 18 patients with severe pelvic fracture were admitted to the department of emergency and the changes in hemodynamics were mo...Objective To study the changes in hemodynamics after pelvic fracture.Method 18 patients with severe pelvic fracture were admitted to the department of emergency and the changes in hemodynamics were monitored by use of Swan-Ganz catheter.Results Hemodynamic changes of the dead and the survival after pelvic fracture were very different.Heart rate(HR)decreased and mean artery pressure(MAP),cardiac index(CI)increased significantly 4~8 h after fluid and blood resuscitation in the dead, but MAP,CI decreased and mean pulmonary artery pressure(MPAP),pulmonary capillary wedge pressure(PCWP)and central venous pressure (CVP)increased again significantly 10 h after resuscitation.In the survival hemodynamic parameters became stable 16~24 h after resuscitation.Conclusion The mortality of the patients whose hemodynamics were difficult to maintain stable after resuscitation was much higher [Read More
