Abstract:By comparing the innovative talents training mode of Chinese research-oriented universities with that of American ones,dissimilarities are found out: in teaching mode,teaching is combined with scienti...By comparing the innovative talents training mode of Chinese research-oriented universities with that of American ones,dissimilarities are found out: in teaching mode,teaching is combined with scientific research in American research-oriented universities;in curriculum system,a curriculum system which is propitious to training innovative talents is established;in classroom teaching,seminars are adopted and students' ability of operation is paid much attention to and developed;in practice,student's innovative ability is much stressed;in humane environment,a good environment for training innovative talents is provided for students.Comparatively speaking,however,in Chinese research-oriented universities,innovative talents are usually trained by establishing a curriculum system which can encourage students to make discoveries and creation and strengthening student's comprehensive quality;students' ability to observe,analyze and solve problems are developed in the same way;and necessary cultural environments are also provided for innovative talents training.Using for reference the successful experience of American research-oriented universities in innovative talents training,Chinese research-oriented universities are suggested to combine teaching with scientific research in the undergraduate stage,establish the curriculum system which is propitious to training innovative talents,reform the current classroom teaching mode,carry out extracurricular researches and social practice actively and build a good environment for training innovative talents.Read More
