Title: The Effect of Heart Rate and Heart Rate Variability for Primary Hypertension Patients Between Molecular Long-acting and Preparation Long-acting Dihydropyridine Calcium Channel Blockers
Abstract: Objective To discuss the effect of heart rate and heart rate variability for primary hypertension patients between molecular long-acting and preparation long-acting dihydropyridine calcium channel blockers. Methods We choose 7 articles searched from PubMed and published articles on comparing benidipine with other long-acting calcium channel blockers, make analysis for some data on heart rate including benidipine, nifedipine and amlodipine slow-release,and compare the results on heart rate and heart rate variability. Results We found for the effect on heart rate, the result shows benidipine is better than nifedipine.A study shows benidipine obviously better than amlodipine; For the effect on heart rate variability, benidipine is better than nifedipine, and has the higher heart rate variability. Conclusion For the effect on heart rate variability, benidipine is better than nifedipine, has higher heart rate variability. The advantage of benidipine which effects on heart rate for primary hypertension patients can be related to L、T、N three sub-types calcium channel blockers, drug with multi-channel blockers can be expected to have better heart protective effect.
