Title: Role of Industrial Agglomeration in the Industrialization and It’s Spatial Evolution
Abstract: This paper explores the role of industrial agglomeration in the course and the spatial evolution of industrialization. According to empirical results, industrial agglomeration promotes industrial spatial evolution between regions and between urban and rural areas. Based on provincial panel data model in China during 1999-2006, it is confirmed that industrial agglomeration impact positively on the course of industrialization, and then the internal mechanisms of it are explored. Through the functions of factors allocation and increasing output, industrial agglomeration promotes the course of industrialization.
