Title: Evolution of Land Worship Ceremony and Worship of Houtu in Wanrong
Abstract: Worship of land, starting at the period of three sovereignties and five emperors in China's remote antiquity, has evolved into unique ritual ceremony in the Zhou Dynasty. It has also incorporated gods of human pattern factors into worship of nature gods, and thus formed a fixed title--Houtu. The ritual site might be either in the Fangqiu in the pool or in the Northern Suburb of the capital, and Fangqiu is not clear to us as to its location. It was believed at the time of Emperor Wu is the Han Dynasty that Fangqiu was today's Baojing,Wanrong County, where Emperor Wu buried Houtu. This is felt far today in Wan Rong
