Title: The Clinical Therapeutic Effects of Trimetazidine Combined with Usual Therapy for Unstability Angina Pectoris
Abstract: Objective:To evaluate the clinical therapeutic effects of trimetazidine combined with usual therapy for unstability angina pectoris. Methods: 86 patients with unstable angina pectoris were randomized into routine treatment group and combined treatment group. In the routine treatment group patients accepted the treatment with nitrate, calcium antagonist,angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor,β-blocker and aspirin. In the combined treatment group trimetazidine(20mg,3 times daily) was given in addition to routine therapy. The treatment durations in both groups were 12 weeks. The symptoms, heart rate, blood pressure, ambulatory 24-hour electrocardiography and side effects were observed. Results: The treatment efficacy of the trimetazidine group was better than that of the routine treatment group(P0.01),the reductions of the number of ischemic episodes, maximal ST-segment depression and the total time of ischemic episodel were more significant(P0.01).Conclusions: Combination therapy of trimetazidine and conventional drugs releases unstable angina pectoris more effectively.Trimetazidine can improve the unstability angina pectoris in patients. So it is valuable to be spread broadly in clinic.
