Title: Clinical observation on the effect of dexmedetomidine on hypertensive patients with tracheal intubation response
Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical effect of dexmedetomidine on hypertensive patients with tracheal intubation response. Methods 57 patients were divided into experimental group(n=31) and control group(n=26).Experimental group was given dexmedetomidine, and control group received saline. The changes of SBP,DBP,HR of the two groups before induction of anesthesia,at 0,1,3,5 min after intubation were evaluated. Results At different induction periods, the SBP,DBP,MBP,HR of observation group significantly decreased compared with the control group(P 0.05).At intubation and 1,3 min after intubation,SBP,DBP,HR of control group were significantly increased(P 0.05).At different periods, the MBP of control group was significantly increased(P0.05); DBP,MBP and SBP of observation group had no significant difference(P0.05); After induction,HR of the two groups decreased obviously at different periods(P0.05).Conclusion Preoperative use of dexmedetomidine can reduce tracheal intubation response of hypertension patient,it is a ideal method for patients with hypertension which is worthy of clinical use.
