Title: A Study of the Therapeutic Effect of Combination and Sequential Interventional Treatment on Primary Liver Cancer Against that of Hepatic Arteria Chemo Embolization
Abstract: Objectives To study the clinical value of combination and sequential interventional treatment on primary live cancer.Method 82 cases of liver cancer were divided into two groups in random, among which there were 38 case in combination treatment group and 44 in TAE treatment group. In the combination treatment group, the cases were given treatment in sequence as below: TAE, percutaneous transhepatic portal chemoembolization under B type ultrasonic induction, ethanol injection treatment for the liver cancer and ethanol injection for protal venous thrombus under B type ultrasonic induction.Result In combination treatment group and in TAE treatment group, the cases who's survival period longer than half of a year were 36 cases(94.7%) and 32 cases(72.7%) respectively, the survival period longer than 1 year were 26 cases (68.4%) and 18 cases(40.69%)respectively ,and the survival period longer than 2 years were 12 cases(31.5%) and 4 cases (9.1%) respectively. There were 3 cases who survived more than 3 years in the combination treatment group, and the longest survival period was 42 months in the combination treatment group as the patients is still alive. On contrary, the longest survival period was 30 months in TAE group while the patient died in the end. The difference between the two groups was significant(P0.05).Conclusion The 0.5 year, 1 year,2 year and 3 year's survival rate in the combination and sequential interventional treatment group are significantly higher than that of the TAE group.
