Title: Determination of 5 Active Components in Ruyi Jinhuang Power by HPLC
Abstract: OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the simultaneous determination of aloe-emodin,rhein,emodin,chrysophanol and physcion in Ruyi jinhuang power.METHODS:HPLC method was adopted.The sample was separated on a Shimadzu C18 column with acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid as mobile phase(gradient elution) at flow rate of 1.0 mL·min-1.The detection wavelength was set at 254 nm and the column temperature was 25 ℃.The injection volume was 20 μL.RESULTS:Aloe-emodin,rhein,emodin,chrysophanol and physcion had good linear relationship in the range of 0.042~0.672 μg(r=0.999 4),0.167 6~2.681 6 μg(r=0.999 9),0.084~1.344 μg(r=0.999 6),0.092 6~1.481 6 μg(r=0.999 8)and 0.174 4~2.790 4 μg(r=0.999 1).Their average recoveries were 97.95%(RSD=0.88%),97.59%(RSD=1.20%),98.25%(RSD=1.79%),97.93%(RSD=0.57%)and 98.03%(RSD=1.33%),respectively.CONCLUSION:The method is simple,accurate and suitable for the content determination of 5 active components of Ruyi jinhuang power simultaneously.
