Title: The Analysis of Ultrasound Joint Inspection of Endothelial Dilated Function,Intima-media Thickness of Carotid,Femoral Artery in Patients with Coronary Atherosclerotic Disease
Abstract: Objective To study the diagnosis value of ultrasound examination of carotid and femoral artery intima thickness(IMT) and brachial artery endothelial function for coronary artery disease. Methods 113 patients suspected of having coronary artery disease underwent coronary angiography(CAG).According to the results of CAG,they were divided into non-CAD group(control group,46 cases) and coronary heart disease group(67 cases),which was further divided into single-vessel disease group(29 cases) and multi-vessel disease group(38 cases) according to the number of diseased vessels.By ultrasound, brachial artery endothelial function and bilateral common carotid and femoral artery IMT of all patients were examined and the results were compared with CAG. Results In patients with coronary heart disease,flow-mediated vasorelaxation(FMD)((7.8±2.1)%) and nitroglycerin-mediated vasodilator responses(NMD)((12.9±3.6)%) were both significantly lower than those of control group((15.4± 2.8)% and(22.9±3.4)%),the difference was statistically significant(P0.05);Multi-vessel disease patients′ FMD((4.2±2.0)%) and NMD((7.6±3.1)%) were significantly lower than those of single-vessel disease(FMD(9.9±2.5)%,NMD(16.8±3.9)%),the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Carotid and femoral artery IMT of coronary heart disease patients with single vessel disease were((0.87±0.15)mm and(1.16±0.20)mm),carotid and femoral artery IMT of multi-vessel disease were((0.96±0.21)mm and(1.60±0.23)mm),they were both significantly higher than those of control group((0.69±0.13)mm and(0.87±0.17)mm),the difference was statistically significant(P0.01);IMT of patients with multi-vessel disease was significantly higher than those of single vessel disease group, the difference was statistically significant(P0.01). Conclusion The examination of brachial artery endothelial function and bilateral common carotid and femoral artery IMT shows that the decrease of FMD and NMD and the thickening of carotid and femoral artery IMT are related to the degree of coronary heart disease,so it can provide evidence for the early diagnosis of the disease.
