Title: Clinical Observation on the Therapeutic Effects of Trimetazidine on Chronic Myocardia Infarction with Refractory Heart Failure
Abstract: Objective To observe the effects of trimetazidine in chronic myocardial infarction with refractory heart failure. Methods 66 patients with chronic myocardial infarction and refractory heart failure were divided randomly into two groups: treatment group and control group.Patients in the treatment group were treated with trimetazidine on the basis of diuretic,ACE inhibitor and digitoxin, and patients in the control group were treated with diuretic,ACE inhibitor,β blocker and digitoxin. All patients were followed up for 12 weeks. The clinical symptoms, left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),6 minutes walking distance, and the levels of plasma BNP were studied. Results The LVEF and 6 minutes walking distance were obviously improved in the treatment group compared with the control group(P0.05),and the total effective rate was 88.24% and 68.75% respectively. The levels of plasma BNP were decreased significantly(P0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups. Conclusion Trimetazidine can significantly improve cardiac function and decrease the levels of plasma BNP on patients with chronic myocardial infarction and refractory heart failure, and has no obvious adverse reactions,so it can be used a routine medicine for patints with chronic myocardial infarction and refractory heart failure.
