Title: The level and influencing factors of communication between clinical teachers and nursing students in clinical practice
Abstract: Objective To investigate the communication between clinical teachers and nursing students in clinical practice and analyze its influencing factors,in order to provide a reference for clinical nursing teaching.Methods Totally 155 nursing interns and 45 clinical nursing teachers were employed in this study by convenience sampling,and a self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the level and influencing factors of communication between the students and the teachers.Results The score of nursing students' questionnaire and clinical teachers' questionnaire was 12.58±10.93 and 15.24±17.33 respectively.About the influencing factors of teacher-student communication,the nursing students thought that the characters of themselves,clinical teachers' personalities and busy work were the most important factors,and the clinical teachers thought that clinical teachers' personalities,busy work,and nursing students' characters,poor attitudes to learning and less attention to clinical practice were important factors.Conclusion The communication between clinical teachers and nursing students need to be improved.The major influencing factors include clinical teachers' personalities and busy work,and nursing students' characters,poor attitudes to learning and clinical practice.The influencing factors should be paid more attention to,and the appropriate education and training should be carried out to promote teacher-student communication in clinical practice.
