It comes to a conclusion that the average degree of ionization is less than 0.5 for the non-ideal argon plasmas at temperature T ≈ 2.0eV and plasma density ρ≈ (0.01~0.5)g.cm?3, and the average degree of ionization is reduced with the increase of plasma density ρ. This indicates that the non-ideal argon plasma has a very low degree of ionization so that most argon has not been ionized.
