Title: Metallogenic Rules of Copper Deposits in the Wudang-Tongbai-Dabie Metallogenic Belt
Abstract: The Wudang-Tongbai-Dabie metallogenic belt can be divided into three secondary tectonic units, the south Qin Ling orogenic belt, north Huaiyang tectonic belt and Tongbai-Dabie tectonic belt. The south Qin Ling orogenic belt has a wide distribution of metamorphic hydrothermal type copper deposits. The north Huaiyang tectonic belt is abundant with VMS type, magmatic type and porphyry copper deposits. The Tongbai-Dabie tectonic belt has widely distributed magmatic hydrothermal type and skarn type copper deposits. These structural units exert a critical control on the types of copper deposits. The metamorphic hydrothermal type copper deposits are related to low-grade metamorphism, and the metamorphic fluids migrated along faults and finally formed in the secondary fault within black rock series. The copper deposits of VMS type, magmatic type and porphyry are closely associated with magmatism, and occurred in the contact zone between interior rock mass and wall rocks. The magmatic hydrothermal type and skarn type copper deposits usually formed in the late magmatism stage, and are distributed in the contact zone between rock masses and surrounding rocks as well as adjacent structural fracture belts.
