Title: The research features and evolution of educational sociology in mainland,China(1979-2005)——Analysis on educational sociology textbook since its reconstruction
Abstract: Having analyzed 18 works on educational sociology(textbooks with general introduction),we discover that the research on educational sociology in mainland,China had the following features: on the research paradigm,functionalism has dominated;in the research train of thought,focus on the relationship between education and the society;in the objective of research,stress the construction of system: in the research method,emphasize qualitative.The research trends in educational sociology in mainland China are: from the system awareness to problem awareness,from binary to multiple values; from value neutrality to critical participation;from only paying attention to academic mission to laying equal stress on academic and social missions.
