As a kind of folk art form, Shanxi folk songs are very popular with the residents of Shanxi province. Based on Hua'er XiaSichuan and Shanxi folk song ZouXikou, which are positioned and explored in the historical and cultural background, this paper interprets and analyzes the deep cultural connotation, and explores the historical significance and aesthetic value. By means of comparative method, certain social, historical and cultural elements and their common theme such as leaving one's native place are revealed, the internal law of folk songs is also discovered.Read More
