Title: Controlling Effect and Safety of Flucetosulfuron against Weeds in Direct-sowing Rice Field
Abstract: [Objective]The study aimed to discuss the controlling effect of flucetosulfuron against weeds in direct-sowing rice field, observe its safety on rice and confirm its optimum using dosage.[Method]With the rice variety Wuxiangjing 833 as the tested material, the controlling effect of 10%flucetosulfuron WP against the weeds such as the annual broacheaf weed and sedge weed in direct-sowing rice field and its safety were investigated through the plot test and wide field trial.[Result]10%flucetosulfuron WP used in direct-sowing rice field not only could effectively control the Echinochloa crusgalli at 3-5 leaf stage, but also could have a good controlling effect on E.crusgalli at over 7 leaf stage. It could control of the broadleaf weeds such as Monochoria vaginalis and Ammannia baccifera and sedge weed of Cyperus difformis as well as. When 10%flucetosulfuron WP was applied with the conventional using dosage of 300-600 g/hm~2 and diluted by 7 500 kg water its controlling effect on per plant and fresh weight of Echinochloa crusgalli,Monochoria vaginalis and Cyperus difformis were all over 90%with its lasting period of over 40 d and it had a high safety on rice without any effect on the rice production.[Conclusion]The controlling effect of flucetosulfuron against weeds in direct-sowing rice field was or higher than or quite to that of some commercialization herbicides in the same type and it had the low price,so it was suitable to be popularized in great area.
