Title: Cultural Connotation of Dragon Dancing and Spiritual Tie of the Chinese Nation
Abstract: Starting from the cultural features of dragon dancing, the paper explores the close relations between the Chinese dragon dancing and traditional Chinese culture as well as how to play its role as a spiritual tie in the Chinese nation. The research finds that dragon dancing, as a folk event, has gone beyond the scope of sports in the thousand-of-year development and become a symbol of the Chinese nation. Besides, as a popular cultural phenomenon, it is inherited over generations and connected closely with traditional Chinese festivals, religions and folk cultures, thus becoming important ingredient of Chinese culture. What's more, dragon dancing reflects the nature of the unity and advancement of the Chinese nation.
