Title: Ammonia Processing Technology in A Recirculating System in Industrial Aquaculture: A Review
Abstract: Ammonia processing technology as a key in a recirculating aquaculture system is summarized including a bubble-washed bead filter, ion exchange and adsorption, microorganism treatment, and use of ozone and submerged plants. The advantages and disadvantages of these methods are evaluated, and a new method, specific LED light irradiation submerged plants handling ammonia, is introduced. The future researches on those methods are discussed to provide a base for practice application.
