Title: The Virtual Machining Research of Hypoid Gears
Abstract: It introduced the method of preprocessing of instantaneous generating,meshing and imposed restriction to the spiral gears by ANSYS.Based on the research status of the recent stress analysis of spiral bevel gear,quality of tooth surface meshing was done with tooth contact analysis(TCA),and by using ANSYS software that had very strong ability in CAE,it carried out dynamic simulation to spiral bevel gears under meshing condition,getting a more accurate tooth surface contact stress and tooth root bending stress.The three-dimensional nonlinear finite element contact model of spiral bevel gear was established,and dynamic meshing simulation was carried out on spiral bevel gear under the certain rotational speed and load torque,getting gear tooth surface contact stress and tooth root bending stress change rule under a mesh period.The loaded tooth contact analysis(LTCA) had been presented,getting the gear tooth meshing tooth surface contact stress,and the bending stress changing process.This method can further provide theoretical basis for the spiral bevel gear strength analysis and fatigue life calculation.
