Title: A Study of Primary and Secondary Education Systems in Germany
Abstract: German compulsory education has been implemented for 12 years, and now all public primary and secondary schools are tuition-free.In the world history of education,Germany is the first country to implement compulsory education. The structure of its education system is very complex, especially in the secondary education stage. In all the states students study four years at primary schools and then, based on their academic performances and their parents' desires, enter any one of the four types of secondery schools,i.e.ordinary schools,Realschules, combined schools or Gymnasiums,in which instructions and students' orientations after graduation are different. All of these also present a reference for our country's primary and secondary education.
