Title: Synthesis of Cyclohexyl Acetate Catalyzed by p-Toluenesulfonic Acid under Microwave Irradiation
Abstract: With acetic acid and cyclohexanol as raw materials, cyclohexane as water entrainer and p toluenesulfonic acid as catalyst, cyclohexyl acetate was synthesized directly under normal pressure and microwave irradiation .The most suitable reaction conditions were that with 5 0 mL acetic acid, the mole ratio of cyclohexanol and acetic acid was 1 5∶1 0, the amount of cyclohexane was 5 mL, the amounts of p toluenesulfonic acid was 0 20 g, and the microwave irradiation time was 15 min with the power of 595 W.The yield of cyclohexyl acetate was over 97%.
