Title: Detection of QRS Complex Basing on Wavelet Transform Template.
Abstract: Objective To improve QRS complex detection rate. Method After wavelet transformation, the components of different frequencies in an ECG signal could be mapped to a set of specific scales, and there were some connections among them. Basing on the analysis of these scale results, a new QRS detection method was presented, in which the relations of different scales were applied to obtain a wavelet transform template after Mexican hat wavelet was implemented to the ECG signal. The obtained wavelet transform could be used in QRS detections. It reduces noise thus improves detection rates. Result The numerical results showed that the detection rates of this method could reach 99.9% when it was applied to detect ECG signals from MIT/BIH standard database. Conclusion QRS detection rate can be greatly improved when specific QRS template is obtained from the nonlinear transformation of the different wavelet scales.
