Abstract: Objective To investigate the efficacy of acupuncture point injection plus bone-setting manipulation in treating cervical headache. Methods Seventy-five patients were randomly allocated to two groups. The treatment group of 40 cases was given acupuncture point injection plus bone-setting manipulation and the control group of 35 cases, oral Flunarizine and intravenous drip of Puerarin. The therapeutic effects were evaluated in the two groups after three weeks of treatment. Results The total efficacy rate and cure rate were 97.5% and 72.5%, respectively, in the treatment group and 77.1% and 25.7%, respectively, in the control group. A chi square test showed a significant difference between the two groups (P0.05). Conclusion Acupuncture point injection plus bone-setting manipulation has a better therapeutic effect on cervical headache.
