Title: Clinic observation of combined surgery in the treatment of cataract concurred with glaucoma
Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of combined surgery in the treatment of cataract concurred with glaucoma.Methods Trabeculectomy combined with extracapsular cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation were performed in 72cases(78 eyes)who suffered from cataract concurred with glaucoma.Postoperative vision,intraocular pressure,filtration and complication were observed.Results Among the total 78 eyes,the vision improved in 61 eyes,unchanged in 17 eyes three months after surgery.The effective proportion is 78.20% in vision improvement three months after surgery and 97.43% in control of intraocular pressure six months after surgery.63 eyes have ideal filtration after surgery.The complications after suegery consist of corneal edema,aseptic inflammation in anterior chamber and hyphema,et.Conclusion Combined surgery is an effective and safe way to deal with cataract concurred with glaucoma.
