Title: Reflection on the Link of Teaching English to Freshmen in Vocational Colleges
Abstract: This paper discusses the transition and link of the English study of new vocational college stu- dents and analyzes the difference of teaching objectives, contents and models between the senior middle schools and vocational colleges. It is important to promote a smooth transition in solving the problem of link in English teaching, and also to foster students' learning strategies. It is also of great significance to help students adapt to English study in vocational colleges and enhance their communicative competence.
