Abstract: This study focuses on how learners improve their own writing skills and evaluating-writing skills by combining self-directed feedback and peer feedback on their writing. The effects of peer feedback were investigated through one intact class, which was trained in how to participate in peer feedback on writing. The researchers conducted a pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design, questionnaire and interview to collect data.According to pretest(writing test),the subjects were divided into 9 groups. The study concludes that most students have a positive attitude toward peer feedback and that peer feedback can help learners avoid making similar mistakes, learn useful expressions and sort out their own thoughts. In addition,in peer feedback the writing problems with content, structure and language can be easily identified and resolved.
