Title: Nonverbal Communication and the Transmission of Cultural Information
Abstract: Nonverbal Communication is closely related to culture. In the course of intercultural communication, people need to have a good command of the means of nonverbal communication which contains many cultural factors in addition to the basic language knowledge, such as pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. From the perspective of cultural differences in body language, paralanguage, object language and environmental language, as well as the communication obstacles brought about by them, the present article expounds the importance of culture in nonverbal communication in great detail.
