Title: The expression and clinic significance of serums C-reactive protein in patients with coronary heart disease
Abstract: AIM: To explore the expression and clinic significance of seru ms C-reactive protein(CRP) in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD). METHODS: The level of serum CRP in 100 patients with various CHD were measured and compared with those in 30 healthy controls. RESULTS: The levels of CRP were significantly higher in CHD group than those in healthy g roup ( P0. 01), and were significantly higher in acute myocard infarction ( AMI) group than those in other CHD cases (P0. 01, respectively). The levels of CRP、CPK、LDH、α-HAD、AST in stable angina pectoris group didn′t significantly increase compared with health contr ol group ; the level of CRP but not CPK、LDH、α-HAD、AST in unstable angina pe ctoris group were significantly increased, and the levels of CRP、CPK、LDH、α -HAD、AST were greatly increased in AMI group. CONCLUSION: The le vel of serum CRP is associated with CHD, CRP may be an independent risk factor f or CHD.
