Title: Effect of combined application of different rates of nitrogen and potassium fertilizers on grain yield and quality of winter wheat
Abstract: Effect of combined application of different rates of nitrogen and potassium fertilizers on grain yield and quality of winter stronggluten wheat Jinan 17 was studied The results indicated that yields of combined application of N 210 kg/hm2 and K2O 90 kg/hm2 (N210K2O90), and N 300 kg/hm2 and K2O 180 kg/hm2 (N300K2O180) were significantly higher compared to those in other treatments Yields of grain in N210K2O90 and N300K2O180 were 67837kg/hm2 and 69503kg/hm2, respectively, but their difference was not significant The different nitrogen levels affected grain quality greatly With increase of nitrogen application rates, grain quality were improved Under N 120kg/hm2, 210kg/hm2, and 300kg/hm2 applied, their wet gluten content were 320%, 328%, and 338%, sedimentation value were 419ml, 438ml, and 492ml, dough stability were 197min, 225min, and 246min, respectively Application rates of potassium fertilizer also affected wheat grain quality, sedimentation value and dough stability in K2O 90 kg/hm2 applied was obviously higher compared to K2O 180 kg/hm2 (K2O180) applied The optimum N and K2O application rates based on benefit and quality was 2197kg/hm2 and 967kg/hm2 under this experimental condition, respectively
