Title: From the Function of Language to the Power of Discourse:Culture Return of Medio-Translatology
Abstract: In comparative literature study, medio-translatology refers to the cultural implication in translation study. Along with post-colonialism theory's springing up, the former that does not take any ideology has expanded into discourse with cultural hegemony and ideology. Therefore, translation is not only confined to the conversion on language suface but also broader interpretative function and becomes a kind of cultural issue, which is concerned with two cultural campaigns in the study of comparative literature. So the study of comparative literature can return to its substance: to promote the multicultural communication and the harmony of world, and to look for the common law of the development of world literature, so as to realize the establishment of the history mission of different cultures for mutual communication.
