Abstract:Jingtang-language a special language used for worship. It refers to a special Chinese variant during Ming and Qing dynasties that was formed when the Sutra teachers used Chinese( also called Mongolian...Jingtang-language a special language used for worship. It refers to a special Chinese variant during Ming and Qing dynasties that was formed when the Sutra teachers used Chinese( also called Mongolian-Chinese at that time) to translate Arabic and Persian. Its features,qualities and formation process are similar to the historical Han Er languageand some modern dialects,used in northwestern China,such as Linxia and Xining dialects. Our study suggests,preliminarily,that the translation style of Jing-language approaches to that of the Yuan and Ming dynasties. Thecasein Yuan vernacular marks the components. For example,Shangin location nouns the mark of the person and accusative. The preposition-Da( 达) is the phenomenon of ablative case. Those are all in the category of caseused in Meng language. We think Mongolian has the feature of disturbance when they appear in Jing-language.Read More
