Title: Influence of the living assistive devices on the ability of daily life in the elderly stroke patients with hemiplegia.
Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of the living assistive device on the ability of daily life in the cerebral infarction patients with hemiplegia. Methods The clinical data of 98 cerebral infarction patients with hemiplegia who were treated from January 2010 to January 2012 were collected, and divided into conventional rehabilitation group and rehabilitation intervention group by using a random number table. The cerebral infarction patients with hemiplegia in the conventional rehabilitation group were given neurological conventional processing, while the cerebral infarction patients with hemiplegia in the rehabilitation intervention group were given mental intervention, exercise therapy training and finger exercise training on the basis of the treatments for the conventional rehabilitation group, then they were investigated by self-made questionnaire survey, improved barthel index and activities of daily life at the beginning and after one month. Their ability of daily life and adverse reaction were evaluated. Results After one month, the MBI scores were higher than that at the beginning (P0.05), the MBI scores were higher in the rehabilitation intervention group than that in the conventional rehabilitation group (P0.05), and the ADL scores were lower in the rehabilitation intervention group than that in the conventional rehabilitation group (P0.05). Conclusion Early rehabilitation training combined with living assistive device can obviously improve the gastric regurgitation neural function defect, reduce the degree of disability and improve ability of daily life.
