Title: The Effect of Precursor Preparation Methods on the Performance of CuZnAl Slurry Dimethyl Ether Synthesis Catalysts Prepared by a Complete Liquid-Phase Technology
Abstract: The CuZnAl catalysts were prepared by a complete liquid-phase technology and the precursor of the CuZnAl catalysts was prepared by sol-gel method, coprecipitation sedimentation method,gel-network controlled method or gel-network-coprecipitation method. All the catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction,H2 temperature-programmed reduction and N2 adsorption(BET).The performance of the catalysts for the direct synthesis of dimethyl ether from syngas was evaluated in a slurry reactor. The results indicate that different catalyst precursor preparation obviously influenced catalytic performance. When the precursor was prepared by coprecipitation sedimentation method, the catalysts had good Cu dispersion, strong interaction between Cu and Zn,and high specific surface area, meanwhile, during the reaction,it showed higher CO conversion and no significant deactivation.
