Title: Treating COPD Complicated with Osteoporosis by Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine
Abstract: Objective: To investigate the curative effect of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine on treating COPD complicated with osteoporosis in the elderly. Methods: 182 cases of senile COPD complicated with osteoporosis were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated by normal western medicine, while the therapy group by Yishen Jianpi Bufei decoction produced by ourselves on the base of that in control group. Results: The improvement condition of clinical syndrome, lung function, bone metabolism and serum lipids and BMD in therapy treatment were significantly better than those in control group after treatment ( P 0.01). Conclusion:Treatment of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine has a significant clinical curative effect on sinile COPD complicated with osteoporosis.
