Title: An Analysis of Problems & Suggestions for Practical Business English Teaching
Abstract: In process of business English learning,students have a good grasp of specialized vocabulary but a poor ability to apply the vocabulary and a slow response to capturing information.Considering such problems of students,before learning each unit teachers should introduce professional knowledge and background knowledge to the students,guide students to understand the main idea of the article by using a fast-reading way and enable students to determine the text meaning according to the context by means of discourse analysis.Meantime,the student participation should be stimulated in business English class,the time for teacher's teaching and students'practice should be well arranged,and the research and improvement of business English teaching materials should be strenghthened,so that the skilled professionals should be trained with both a solid foundation of language with specialty knowledge and adaptation to the social needs.
