Title: Study on Kinetic of Curing Reaction of Modified BMI
Abstract: The kinetics of the curing reaction of CDR 9418 modiflied bismaleimide was studied by DSC(differential scanning calorimetry). From the basic dynamic equation, the kinetic parameters such as overall activation energy, and reaction order of isothermal curing reaction were gained by differentiation. Kissinger's method was applied to multiple DSC curves obtained at various heating rates to evaluate the nonisothdermal overall activation energy and frequency factor, while the value of n was estimated according to the shape index in Kissinger's method. The results show that the reaction order n and the reaction rate constant k of the isothermal curing reaction increases with the rise of curing temperature,n inclines to 1 at 460K; and n of the nonisothdermal curing reaction reduces with the rise of the rise of the heating rate.
