Title: A Comparative Study of Mental Health State of College Students from Different Backgrounds
Abstract: Objective: To explore the correlation and differences of mental health of college students from different backgrounds, and to provide a scientific basis for the mental health education. Methods: Investigation was made in 5,945 college students by using CCSMHS. Results: There are significant differences in mental health among students of different grades, genders, nations, only children, specialties and family origins. Meanwhile, the students' mental health is significantly associated with all backgrounds. Conclusion: To raise the state of mental health in the mental health education, we must take into account the characteristics among different backgrounds.
