Title: Study on water environmental capacity calculation and emission reduction benefit assessment of Wulie River in Chengde City
Abstract: Calculation of water environmental capacity can provide the scientific basis for water pollution prevention,and evaluation of project emission reduction benefits can provide priority for water pollution prevention.Both of them directly can affect the implementation of water quality targets and total emission reduction tasks.As a case study of the Wulie River in Chengde,the water environmental capacities of COD and ammonia nitrogen were both calculated according to the calculation methods of water environmental capacity,pollution situation,water quality status and water environmental function division in the basin.By means of input response relationship,combining with basin pollution prevention planning,the improving efficiency of water quality for two main pollution prevention project was analyzed.It was showed that the capacity of COD and ammonia nitrogen in Wulie River were 1 519.7,159.6t/a.Water environmental capacity were overloaded.The pollution prevention project could significantly reduce the emission of COD and ammonia nitrogen,and the contribution of improving water quality was obvious.The implementation of project would be conducived to improve the Wulie River water environmental status.
