Title: Process Optimization Study on Extractive Distillation for Preparation of Anhydrous Ethanol
Abstract: Process optimization of extractive distillation for preparation of anhydrous ethanol was studied.The results showed that when flow rate of industrial ethanol was 10000 kg/h,stage number of extractive distillation column was 28 and recovery column was 10,the optimum operation parameters were as followed: number of feed stage 18,number of extractant stage 3,mole reflux ratio2.4,ratio of extractant to feed 1∶1 for extractive distillation and number of feed stage 4,mole reflux ratio 1.2 for recovery column.Under the optimized parameters,mass fraction of anhydrous ethanol could reach 99.96%,heat duty of extractive distillation column was 7242.55 kW and recovery column was 977.71 kW.The results of optimization would provide fundamental guide for the industrial production.
