Title: An empirical study of consumption difference between urban and rural Areas-based on error correction model of four variables
Abstract: This paper applying time series data from1991 to 2008 to analyze the consumption difference between urban and rural areas,Statistical analysis methods,such as Almon distributed lag procedure,ADF unit root stationary test and co integration test theory,Error Correction Model of Four Variables;Chow Test,Chow Test.Analysis results showed that the long-term stable and balanced relation between the income and the consumption in urban and rural areas.The vary consumer prices level and government subsidies policies had indirect positive affect on enhancing income elasticity between urban and rural areas,the affect of urban areas was greater than rural areas,in addition,the consumption of citizens and countrymen had structural stability.
