Title: Application and effects of team-based learning in the course of Nursing Ethics
Abstract: Objective To explore the methods and effects of team-based learning(TBL) in the course of Nursing Ethics. Methods The TBL was implemented in the learning of hospice care and euthanasia in the course of Nursing Ethics among 310 associate students. The team arrangement,teaching design and evaluation methods were designed and implemented. Results The students obtained satisfactory performance in the tests. About 85.5% and 64.5% of the students were very satisfied with the team arrangement and learning outcomes. Most of the students reported that their abilities of team cooperation,learning enthusiasm,critical thinking,learning attitudes and communication skills were improved. Conclusion Team-based learning can effectively motivate students' learning enthusiasm and learning achievement. It is suggested to assess the students,arrange the teams scientifically,design the contents and duration of class rationally and take actions to promote the students' participation.
