Title: Zhangye City,Gansu Province,2009—2010 Sentinel Hospital Surveillance of Influenza-like Illness
Abstract: OBJECTIVE Understanding of Zhangye City in Gansu Province, the national sentinel hospitals in the 2009-2010 influenza-like illness(ILI)surveillance, control of influenza(flu)virus strains change trends and characteristics of strategies for prevention and control provide the basis.METHODS On the 2009-2010 Hospital of sentinel ILI three distribution and statistical analysis of network laboratory results.RESULTS Zhangye City in the 2009-2010 report ILI1176 cases, the proportion of influenza-like illness visits (ILI%)0.94%;ILI mainly in children under the age of 15,887 cases, accounting for 72.11%,in particular the 490 cases of children under 5 years old, accounting for 41.67%,showing a younger more ILI trends;ILI% from January to May at a low level of 6-October showed an increasing trend,in November reached the highest point.632 copies were detected in throat swab specimens,161 were positive for influenza virus nucleic acid, the detection rate of 25.47%,of which 74 cases of influenza A H1N1 influenza, constitute more than 45.96% positive,87 cases of seasonal influenza, the positive ratio of 54.04% constitute,2009 Influenza A H1N1 was the dominant strain.Report from the outbreak 4,B-type,H1N1 from the 2,B-type influenza have occurred in rural primary schools,H1N1 occurred in urban secondary schools.CONCLUSION Influenza activity is very active in 2009,mainly to influenza H1N1 influenza.Schools are places of high incidence of epidemic outbreaks, the education sector to promote good early in the autumn and winter, morning check, ventilation, warmth, sanitation, vaccination and other control measures.Strengthen the management of sentinel hospitals, streng thening hospital training, elimination of zero-weekly,increase the sampling quantity, quality, reasonable sample preservation and improve the positive rate of nucleic acids and virus isolation rate.
