Title: Algorithm Optimization of Beamforming Against Channel Deviation in Amplify-and-forward Relay Networks
Abstract: In cooperative communications, imperfect global channel state information(CSI) leads to performance degradation. And the lifetime of wireless network can be extended by using an optimization method in order to maximize the transmission cost savings, under the premise of guarantee the basic quality of service(QoS).To address this issue, the beamforming algorithm with dual constraints that accounts for uncertainties in the global CSI using worst-case design ideas in amplify-and-forward relay networks is introduced. The semi-definite programs not easy to solve can be converted into quasiconvex feasibility programs through the algorithm which uses the properties of convex function and extended S-lemma.The optimal solution can be obtained by bisection method. The domain of convergence is built by the method of importance sampling, and the search range can be reduced under the conditions that ensure the domain of convergence is a convex set.Simulation results reveal that the optimization algorithm that introduced is to improve the system gain through cooperative diversity under the dual constraints that total power constraint(TPC) and per power constraints(PPC) and to resist attenuation effects effectively caused by CSI deviation on system performance.
