Title: Catalytic oxidative desulfurization of diesel with Na_2WO_4·2H_2O and acidic ionic liquid
Abstract: With acidic ionic liquid and Na2WO4·2H2O as catalysts, and hydrogen peroxide as an oxidant, the deep desulfurization of diesel was conducted by oxidation of thiophenic sulfur into sulfone that was extracted by NMP.Effects of temperature, reaction time, and amount of catalyst on the reaction of oxidative desulfurization were also investigated.Diesel with lower sulfur content(23 μg·g-1) was obtained under the optimal reaction conditions as follows: 3 mL oil sample with sulfur concentration of 200 μg·g-1,1 g ionic liquid,0.021 g sodium tungstate(Na2WO4·2H2O),0.7 mL hydrogen peroxide, reaction temperature of 323 K,reaction time of 3 h and V(NMP)∶V(diesel)=1∶1.After the reaction, diesel oil and catalyst were separated by decantation. The catalyst could be recycled for five times without obvious change in catalytic activity.
