Title: “Hume's Problem”and Transcendental Philosophy:A Discussion on Husserl's Transcendence over Kant's “Pure Reason”
Abstract: The investigation of idea's formation exhibited by multi-level Hume's Problem made an important influence upon the development of both Kant's and Husserl's transcendental thoughts. Kant took a first step towards the solution by his objective definition of causality, but fell short due to insufficient argument and metacriticism of the multiplicity of intuition. Based on the discovery of original constitutional activity of intentionality, especially of material's synthesis a priori,Husserl found implicit essence of Hume's Problem concealed by both Kantian transcendental philosophy and even Hume himself and discovered more original meaning of transcendenceat the same time.
